New 2 Strike Approach

Working on new stance this summer, 0 Strikeouts in 46 ABs, lots of line shots at guys, .400 OBP. 75% of my hits are with 2 strikes historically. Hits are coming!

Prospect Blueprint Scouting Report:

Elite Defensive Player with cat-like reflexes. Trained with Omar Vizquel. 2B/3B has extraordinary athleticism in the infield. Quick release, and accurate from all release points. Advanced IQ on the field. Turns 2 as fast as anyone in the game. Seeing is believing. D1 level player, took D2 offer sight unseen while on the DL soph year at Juco. The university apparently had one batting cage it shared with a HS, no readily accessible pitching machine, and didn’t video or use advanced metrics to develop players.

Japanese-style hitter with extremely low K-rate that slices balls all over the diamond with expertise in small ball. Has power, but prefers high OBP approach and opposite field hitting. Best at hitting balls middle away as he is tight on the plate. If he slumps, he tends to break out with multi-hit games back to back to back. Best coach to get background on him is Coach Dan Phillips at MPC or perhaps Perfect Game HC Summer League Coach Ryan Deo. Is being scouted by NPB scouts (Japan) with twin brother Casey as both are part Japanese…work ethic as well.
